BIO

John Hartman was born in Los Angeles, California to Theodore and Aurora Hartman.  He was raised in Denver, Colorado, where he did well in school, and soon developed a love of music, a talent for singing, and was always counted on to perform in “show and tell”.  In high school, he sang in the concert choir, and played in a folk singing group with some fellow classmates.  In college, he sang in the university choir, and played on the baseball team.

John began singing in local nightclubs in the Denver area, and soon became a partner in his own club in Denver, The Cabaret, which was a great success.  His show was broadcast live on radio on Friday nights from the Cabaret, and he was soon doing personal endorsement radio and television commercials in the local area.  He eventually moved to San Diego, where he continued playing locally in nightclubs and hotels, doing appearances on radio and television.

Currently, John has been writing songs and performing to sold out venues in various clubs in Southern California, and he has been recording his music for national release.
